MixForMe Version 2 LaunchesAfter a long rebuild, MixForMe has returned Read More...MixForMe Version 2 is now upon us. It has been a long hard slog but the site is now finished. The rebuild involved a complete code rewrite but this also presented the opportunity to fix some of the less desirable issues with the site. Such as the clumsy credit system. No more credits are required to purchase mixes and masters. Now using our integration with PayPal you can simply pay for the work after you upload your track. We have also streamlined the upload process. There are 2 options: 1) Upload your tracks (up to 300MB) to our seamless integration with Sendspace.com or 2) Add a link to a file you already have hosted elsewhere. Simple.
Not only have we overhauled existing features but we are also introducing brand new features. The engineer search system allows you to find engineers that suit your needs. Have a limited budget? Why not just search for engineers within your price range? With the new search feature that is made a breeze. The engineer profiles have a brand new look too and have an integrated flash player to demonstrate some of the engineers' work. A great way to quickly establish if an engineer works on music similar to your own. We are also unveiling the new blog system. A custom built blog allowing our engineers to post articles on all things music. Engineers can share thoughts, experiences, tips and events with the clients and in return the clients can comment on the article as they see fit. A good way to get to know your engineers and ask them questions in the public domain.
Other new features include the discount system and the rotating advertisements. We want to provide our customers with the best experience possible so why not reward our clients with discounts. These can be on an individual engineer basis or site-wide global discounts which apply to all engineers. Our rotating ad system means you get to see the ads that are relevant to you. We aim to keep all adverts interesting to our clients by adopting strict advertising policies limiting what can and cannot be advertised on our website.
